HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jeanette Anna MacDonald aka Jam
June 18, 1903 - January 14, 1965
I never realized… how much…movie stars mean to people. Not what you do or what you say but just your presence, your being there. It makes you feel embarrassed and rather humble and happy all at once. To be able to bring that much pleasure to people makes me a very lucky woman. Very lucky.

Jeanette MacDonald, 1941
Esther Williams the “mermaid of hollywood”, was an actress in the 1940’s and 1950’s. She was a swimmer, and you can see her swimming in many of your movies, and she just loved do this! Esther was a big star of MGM, and was one of the most beautiful actress of her era. She made for around 24 films, and had many talent! But the thing is, people who lived with her always said that she was adorable, sweet, funny, and always trying to help others. Because of that and many other motives Esther deserves more recognition. And today she died in peace, sleeping.
